Terms of Service

Last updated October 14, 2026

These terms govern your use of Tabbed (gettabbed.app, “the Service”). By signing in or using the Service you agree to them.

1. What Tabbed does

Tabbed helps you and the people you invite keep a shared record of expenses and work out who owes whom. It is a bookkeeping tool. It does not hold, move or process money, and it is not a bank, payment provider or financial adviser.

2. Your account

You sign in with Google. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping it secure. You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live.

3. Groups and shared data

4. Exchange rates and calculations

Exchange rates come from a third-party source (Frankfurter, based on European Central Bank data) and may be delayed, rounded or unavailable, in which case approximate fallback rates are used. Amounts are shown for convenience; check them before you pay or settle anything. Settlements recorded in Tabbed are records only and do not move money.

5. Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the Service: no unlawful content, no attempts to access other people’s data, no probing or disrupting the Service, and no automated scraping or abuse.

6. Availability and changes

The Service is provided “as is” and may change, be interrupted or be discontinued. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. Keep your own copy of anything important; you can export a group’s expenses as CSV.

7. Disclaimer and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for disputes between group members, arising from your use of the Service.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the new terms.
